Senior Management Team (SMT)

The Director, the Division Principals, Deputy Principals and Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) Coordinator comprise the SMT. The Director is the head of the SMT and reports to board.

Faruk Erduran Director, Primary School Principal Faruk gained his diploma as a physics teacher after studying at Marmara University in Turkey and Beloit College in the United States. He came to Romania in August 2002 and he is thoroughly enjoying his life at ISB, and in Romania. He hopes that he will continue for a much longer time! This is Faruk’s third international experience, having worked in Indonesia and Russian Federation. Outside of work Faruk enjoys playing football, running, hiking and going to different parks with his family.

Sinan Kosak Secondary School Principal Born in Erzurum-Turkey, studied Nuclear Energy Engineering in Hacettepe University, Ankara, and then graduated from ODTU, Middle East Technical University-Physics Department. He has been working for Lumina Educational Institutions since moving to Romania in 2000. Has the passion for teaching physics, using ICT in classroom and preparing projects for International Olympiads. He is the co-author of two Physics books for high school students. He enjoys robotics, all kinds of smart gadgets, calligraphy, and football. He is married and has one daughter
